'Land Before Time' Franchise has sold over 45M copies. (at just $20 each
is $900M) Productions cost direct to video, animation and live action,

JUNE 26:
Substitute 3: Substitute 2 starring Treat Williams was a direct to

more.

Chicken: After runs at the theatres, Video, Pay Per View, and Premium Cable NBC has
paid Dreamworks somewhere between $10M to $15M for the new release. NBC

box office flop from the previews I have seen.
JUNE 25: Voyager
Ready: Star Trek's Voyager crew has shown up on the Paramount lot to begin
production of their seventh and final season as the last star trek series
in production. This season promises great storylines and the crew finally
getting home half way through this season.
JUNE 25:
MIB2 Update:
Columbia reportedly wants to re-team Barry Sonnenfield with Will Smith and
Tommy Lee Jones from the first film. The script has been completed by

in order to make a profit. At $48M to sign the two stars if will be a most
expensive remake.
JUNE 25:

office and has amassed a whopping gross of almost $177M passing
Gladiator at $159M (45 days) and Dinosaur @ $121M (31 days).
JUNE 24: New
Site Opinion: The Sci-Fi Channel's new site after merging with
Mothership is
less than stellar. It is all flash now. More difficult to locate stuff
now. Takes longer to download some areas using the
56K modem. Some will like it. I thought
the changes to mothership.com was better before it changed formats too, when they went
over to a flash
designed site. I Seldom visit the site now. What do you think about the new
site and the merger? CLICK HERE
to let me know.
JUNE 24: Witchblade:

Movie/Pilot . Butler coming off the movie says... "Witchblade was
totally awesome! It's fast! It's slick! It moves! It's interesting! And
you care about the character." You can decide if she is shooting
sunshine up your ass on August 27 when Witchblade makes its way to TNT. It
will be months before TNT decides on a series based on the movie.
Witchblade was scripted by Ronin's J.D. Zeik.
JUNE 24: Site
Question: Do you as patrons of this site
think it would be a good idea to add a message board to the site? Or do
you believe it would just clutter up the site with useless comments? let
me know. Click Here to drop me an
email with your opinion.
JUNE 24: The Crow
STH: Edward Pressman is still feeling
positive that they will be getting rights to the show back from Universal
very soon, making them able to make the fall 2k1 season. If the show
returns Pressman says, viewers will be treated to more mysterious and
eerie adventures than they saw during the program's initial run. Pressman
thinks Mark Dacasco from the original series is perfect should the show
return. Dacasco has also indicated he is interested in returning to the
show. The story may evolve in some new ways but it would still be a series
built around Eric Draven.
JUNE 24:
Pitch Black: Finally this summers SCI-FI 'B' movie blockbuster, based on budget, Pitch
Black has made it to the UK . Reception to the picture seems to be going
well to this point. Sequel talk is still in the air, though nothing is
official yet. Vin Diesel still feels there will be one.
JUNE 24: Scooby
Doo: Producer Chuck Roven (12 monkeys) believes with the next few
weeks the live action project will have a director. Screen writer James
Gunn says... "We just turned in our first script and the studio loved
it." Ol Scobby has been around for over 31 years and is finally
getting a live action try. Wonder if it might lead to a new Saturday
morning cartoon?
JUNE 24: Monday
Night Football: Well, The booth is full now as Monday Night
Football has added quarter back great Dan Fouts and HBO's Dennis Miller
(the Net). It appears that Miller is quite football savvy. They both will
be joining Al Michaels.

time deleting my site email and all my alias'. Pain in the butt. It

submission it was lost. Please do me a favor and send them again. My
apologies.

previous comments he wasn't interested. Terminator 3 is set

is likely to be next on the dotted line.
JUNE 23: The
CROW: Beginning , July 23 @ 5pm PST, the SciFi Channel will begin airing the 22
episodes of 'The Crow: Stairway to Heaven' starring martial arts expert
Mark Dacasco (crying freeman). Get the VCR's hot. It was syndicated show

recording the show and want cover sheets for the tapes then click the
image to enter the download area.
JUNE 23:
Indiana Jones 4: Word is that 'Sixth Senses' M. Night Shyamalan has been brought on to
write the script. So much for word that Lucas had a script ready to go.
2k2 appears to be the production date for the century's most talked about
sequel. According to Variety, Spielberg, Lucas and Harrison Ford all
sought out Shyamalan to do the script. He will begin scripting the sequel
after he completes his current production, 'Unbreakable'. (cinescape
online)
JUNE 23: Site
Update: There have been several new cover sheets added in the last
two weeks. I have also updated the Rare/Hard to find movie list with some
really difficult to find TV Movies.
JUNE 22: Creep
on IFILM: Just got an email from Julian Grant (producer and
director of the new Robocop Mini-Series for the fall) and he has a

PAYS $$$: Fox
Cable (FX, FXM, and Fox Family Channel) has paid Buena Vista a reported

JUNE 22: Fletch
Lives: According to the Hollywood Reporter the 11 book series
rights about 'FLETCH' by Gregory McDonald is being shopped around to some
high profile producers ( Silver wasn't mentioned) who all seem interested.
Reps for a number of actors are already interested in their clients
staring in the comedy role. Chevy Chase played Fletch in two successful
comedy films.
JUNE 22: Arnold
backs Up: The
N.Y. Daily News gossip Michell Fink told Access Hollywood that Arnold
Swartzenegger is now talking about Terminator 3. Says Arnold..."We'll
be making an announcement soon. It's all a matter of the script and the
director. My big wish is Jim Cameron and I work together again."
(Looks like Arnold is back tracking after dismal performances at the box
office.) On April 14 he had said he was only interested if Cameron does
it. And Cameron had already said he would not have anything to do with the
two sequels being developed. (Linda Hamilton has also backtracked on her
statements after saying she wasn't interested if Cameron wasn't doing
them.)
JUNE 21: Deadpool
#1: X-Fan is reporting that Marvel's Deadpool will likely be the
first Artisan/Marvel project to hit the screen. Others also being fast
tracked are 'Iron Fist', 'Black Panther' and 'Morbius'. The only drawback
is that the range of each of these pictures will be in the $15M to $30M
range. Not blockbuster bucks, but definitely will be on the local
Blockbuster Shelves.
JUNE 21: Episode
2 Novelization: Star Wars novelist R.A. Salvator (his book took out
Chewbacca) has been selected to pen the Ep. 2 Novelization. Terry Brooks,
a great author, penned the $430M Episode One. A Novel that left
Millions on the shelves and a printing company destitute.
JUNE 21: Tremors
3: Cinescape is reporting that Tremors 3 is scheduled for an April
2000 direct to video release. Cast members of the second film are being

tracking the project. Added to this rumor is Cameron wanting Harrison Ford
in the lead role. (ign) Cameron's representative has already shot down
this rumor once. But you never know.
JUNE 20: Bloodhunt
Delay: There is
now no chance that production will begin by the end of this year as
previously planned. This is now due to the availability of the actors as
well as the script being re-written. They are still hoping for a 2k1
release but look for it in 2k2.
JUNE 20: No
Rat on UPN: UPN did not like the tape showing of Rat Bastard,
saying the tape wasn't sitcomy enough. (crucial comics) Rat Bastard will
be shopped around to other networks.
JUNE 20: Spidey
Rewrite: It's never good enough is it. Sam Raimi has brought in 'Gone in 60
Seconds' scribe Scott Rosenberg to re-write the David Koepp (JP: the lost
world) script. You tweak on something until you ruin it. Wouldn't you have
a script ready to go by NOW?
JUNE 20: Trek
10 Rumor Mill:
A rumor is working its way around the internet that one of the Next
Generation crew will be killed off in the Trek 10. It is said to be
Commander Data, the android. This is being considered for part of
the script. Hapefully Jonathan Frakes will get the directing duties for
this one. Hell, kill a few of them if it'll make it a good film. Bring in
some DS9 actors too.
JUNE 19: Beverly
Hills 4: Seems Bruckheimer is interested in bringing back Axel
Foley for a fourth film after talking with Eddie Murhy. A story is already
in work. Bruckheimer originally passed on the third dismal film. (EW
ONLINE) Will it be good, you ask? Oh Yeah, trust me. :)

the Scream 4. Wes Craven say will NOT be directing another one and the
star of the first three films, Neve Campbell, says she is not interested
in doing another one.
JUNE 19: Carrey
Phone-less: It appears that Jim Carrey is no longer interested in
doing the new picture 'Phone Booth'. That is all I have on this one.

like Mel Gibson is ready to dawn the role of Mad Max for one more film. In
a recent interview he told the reporter he was ready to go ahead with the
project. Must be happy with the script.

Stallone's new racing flick is ready to begin lensing in July. Renny
Harlin is sitting in the directors chair while Burt Reynolds has joined
the production to play a former auto racer who is crippled and confined to
a wheel chair.
JUNE 17: The
Spider Prinze: Freddie Prinze Jr. has decided he wants to play the
webslinger since he has been a fan of the comic since he was a kid and
still reads the guy. Prinze passed on a role in the new X-Men film from
Fox in hopes of landing the starring role from director Sam Raimi. Does
being a fan make you capable of pulling off the role? I don't know.
JUNE 17: Gemini:
The new film has had its budget set at $100M. A 2k2 release has been
planned while Mel Gibson and Harrison Ford have both been contacted to
star. A fifty-year old assassin is being hunted by a younger clone of
himself. Heavy CGI will be used to make the younger assassin look like its
fifty-year old star.
JUNE 17: Jurrasic
DVDs: October 10 will be the official release date for both
Jurassic Park DVD's. Both will be collectors editions with some extras.
The Suggested Retail Price will be $26.98 (That 2 cents sure makes the
disc look cheaper don't it?)
JUNE 16: Invisible
Scoring: The
Sci-Fi Channels new series, two hour pilot movie, scored a SFC high 2.4
Nielson rating. Even the repeat scored a whopping 1.7 rating. I saw the
pilot. It was not bad. Some cheesey stuff, but well done with the special
effects. (variety)
JUNE 16: Hitchhikers
Hell: Looks as
if Douglas Adams' 'Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy' is in Development
Hell. Says Adams, "It's now looking like it will be released in 2k2.
Seems in Hollywood you take one step forward and two steps back."

take 6 months to film. Shooting will be in Cambodia, Iceland and England.
JUNE 14: The
Crow Series: Stairway to Heaven will not be back this fall as previously speculated by
the shows Producer, Edward Pressman. He has been in a dog fight with
Universal trying to get them to release the rights to the show. A show
they cancelled despite good ratings. Pressman is still hoping Universal
will come thru and release the rights. Says Pressman, "It is highly
likely that we'll be able to get the show going for the fall 2k1
season."

Robert Kamen was sold outright to Miramax for a high six-figures. It will
be fast tracked and produced by Dylan Sellers.

toned down. As yet, there is no word on the shows renewal, or its partner
Cleopatra 2525.
JUNE 14: Salvation:
The 3rd Crow feature film 'the Crow: Salvation' was filmed at a budget of
$25M. The script is said to be the best yet. The actual release date of
the film still seems to be in limbo for some unknown reason. The first
film was an awesome movie that to me set the tone for a movie like the
Matrix. And this film has been on the shelf for nearly a year now.
JUNE 13: Matrix
2: Joel
Silver says the sequel will end on a cliffhanger. If you see the second
film, you gotta see 'Matrix 3'.

Costner/ Kurt Russell film '30,000 Miles to Graceland' filmed partially
here in Las Vegas.

the syndicated shows too.
JUNE 13: Matrix
DVD: After
21 weeks in release from Warner Brothers, the top selling DVD is still #6
in sales for the month of May. This is hotter on DVD than it was at the

still quiet on whether or not the Movies about the part human, part animal
government operative will get her own show as a mid-season replacement as
they mentioned last month prior to the shows of Chameleon 3.
JUNE 12: Trek
10: The story is ready to go and a name writer is scripting the picture. Says
Berman, "It is wonderful." The next star trek feature will be
much more action packed. Hopefully we aren't going back to the save the
galaxy stories again. Had enough of those.
JUNE 12: First
Wave: After
promising a new episode beginning June 8, the SciFi Channel graced us with
another rerun of episode 28 'Red Flag', which aired on 4/2. First Wave has
aired through episode 31 on 4/23. So do we get new eps or reruns for
the next three weeks? Already shot the NO rerun summer in the foot.
JUNE 12: Farscape
for 3: Despite
screwing the fans after only broadcasting a few eps with an extended
delay, the Sci-Fi Channel has ordered a third season of 22 episodes.
The channel is also promising a summer of no repeats. I guess so after
more than two months of nothing but reruns.
JUNE 12: Andromeda
in Work: Ok Sorbo fans. The new series 'Andromeda' has 3 episodes nearly in the can. CGI is still
needed on those before completion. The first four episodes are being
filmed out of order.

contract for about another 45 days in the hopes of getting someone to pick
up the show.

a syndicated series and already set at a 42 minute broadcast time.
JUNE 12: Now
& No: CBS has said there is NO WAY they will pick up 'Now & Again' for next
season despite the series winning a SciFi Saturn Award.
JUNE 11: VHS
Cover Sheets: I have added three new VHS Cover Sheets to the site. Sci-Fi Channels
'Invisible Man'. The as yet un-decided 'Chameleon' for UPN and NBC's
cancelled series 'The Pretender'. CLICK
HERE to view all the cover sheets. The Chameleon Cover Sheet could
also be used for the 3 UPN Movies based on the same character.
JUNE 11: Buyer
Beware!!!: All you Playboy buyers might want to skip and issue when
Roseanne Barr exposes all as a playmate in an upcoming issue of the
magazine. The 47 year old actress/talk show host says she is in the best
shape of her life and ready to bare it all. She is working out heavily and
has lost five pounds, had a tummy tuck, a face lift, and a previous breast
reduction. Believe me... this isn't SciFi but it is definitely horror. Let if be some kind
of joke. (World News Entertainment)
JUNE 11: Airwolf:
Airwolf actor &
alcoholic Jan Micheal Vincent, 55, has been busted yet again for Public
Drunkenness. A probation violation (he is facing two counts of probation

of drug and alcohol abuse and doesn't seem interested in getting clean.

it." But he is betting they station will make money. Hey everyone
needs a good tax write-off, right? (ultimate TV)
JUNE 11: Voyager
Home?: Voyager producer Brannon Braga told the official UK Star Trek Magazine,
"We made a big mistake. Voyager is long past getting home. They
really should have gotten home already!" And he says, "Voyager
has been away from earth for 6 years, so there will be ramifications as
they get closer. We definitely want to deal with alot of that
stuff." Another site is reporting that the episodes of them
back in the alpha quadrant will be some of the best episodes star trek has
had.

role, but C2 has not contacted him about the role.

interested in their 10 large market stations - all UPN affiliates. The

covers 41% of the television markets.
JUNE 9: Stainless
Steel Rat: Harry Harrison's 'the Stainless Steel Rat' will be brought to the big
screen from 20th Century Fox and director Jan DeBont. Eric Blakeney

'Daredevil'. This project too is just now entering early development

JUNE 6: That is all for
the updates today. Sorry I don't have more. But other areas of this site
are updated daily, and sometimes more than once per day. The Television
Themes area is quite entertaining and all the themes have been changed
from wav to mp3 format. There is also the Famous Quotes area with quotes
from television and feature films. Fan Opinions and Fan Short Stories you
can ready at your leisure as well as downloading the VHS labels and Cover
Sheets.

DVD Boxed Set similar to that of Fox's latest X-Files set.

Buffy Flick: Creator Joss Whedon says don't hold your breath fans.
There will be no movie in the near future. 22 episodes a year is plenty

longer on the television.

interest in picking up the rights to the CBS cancelled series 'Early
Edition'. They already have the rerun rights to the series and it is

the least liked genre series, but it is also the family oriented series of
the five shows trying to be saved by the fans.

in the new feature film from Sony. Casting for the film should begin in

Spiderman. Arad has already stated that there is no way O'Donnell will be
Spiderman. No idea why not.
