To be honest I had
never heard of the title until I got the DVD in the mail. Watching
the video I was amazed that the animation is 20 years old. The
script for the project was very good and I found the film to have a
good amount of humorous situations some excellent action scenes.
What is truly amazing is the background detail and the animation
fairly fluid.
The voices are good
and you can actually feel the emotion in the voice-overs.
I found "The
Castle of Cagliostro" to be entertaining film despite is age
for an animated feature.
PACKAGING
The packaging is decent for a cover. The animation showing on the
cover looks like something from Archie and Jughead.
VIDEO:
The digital transfer is sharp and crisp. The video is dirt
and debris free with the colors sharp. There's no pixilation or
color bleed.
AUDIO:
The
is good. The film has a decent
soundtrack but it doesn't do much with the stereo system. It's 20
years old, just enjoy the film.
