Volume 5 brings
back 12 episodes from the shows original series which spawned the
billion dollar juggernaut of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The
series spawn three successful motion pictures, a slew of toys,
clothes, utensils and so on.
I was a huge fan of
the TMNT due to the graphic novels from Kevin Eastman and Peter
Laird. These graphic novels contained adult content and situations.
The cartoons took on a more children's theme. The features exposed
viewers to new puppet skills that made the characters life
like.
A new animated
series is nearly complete and ready for television. A new live
action film is currently in development. Ang Lee has been attached
to the live action product.
The bad side of
this release is Lionsgate releasing just 15 episodes in this set
when there are about 190 total episodes.
PACKAGING
The packaging looks comic featuring Raphael with a sai in handle.
The video comes in a Lenticular slip case using the same image.
VIDEO:
The digital transfer
good.
AUDIO:
The audio is there. You can
easily hear the dialog and the shows recognizable theme music.
BONUS FEATURES:
NONE

franchise.
