Overall:  A

STARS: Michael T. Weiss, Andrea Parker, Patrick Bauchau, Jon Gries, Ryan Merriman, Paul Dillion, Harve Pressnell

Season three continues the saga of Jerrod and the Center. This season Miss Parker truly begins to see the evils of the center despite her continued efforts to track Jerrod down and bring him back. Other stories include Jerrod finding his father and discovering that the Center has created a clone of Jerrod

This boxed set is one of the best season of the Pretender and fans will enjoy the set immensely.

I have found it odd that Michael T. Weiss never became a television fenom like a George Clooney. Weiss is good looking and an exceptional actor who has limited roles before, during or after the series. Andrea Parker however has moved on to a successful comedy and I miss the hard nosed chain-smoker. She beautiful, strong willed and exceptionally hot. Oh yeah, she can act too. A favorite however is Jon Gries. He's an outstanding character actor who has been around including films like "Real Genius", "Running Scared", "Monsters Inc.", "Men in Black", and the "Grifters". He's also appeared in a many television series.

An excellent cast mixed with some special writing created an amazingly underrated series that fans are now able to enjoy and find for the first time.

PACKAGING
The packaging is nice and blends well with seasons one and two on the shelf. The handsome Michael T. Weiss appears on all three boxed sets.

VIDEO:
I
video is equal to the previous boxed set. The colors are vibrant and sharp with the video having minimal debris or dirt.

AUDIO:
The audio sounds like Dolby digital 2.0. There nothing here to put the surround sound on it's heals. But it does sound good.

BONUS FEATURES:
The boxed set isn't loaded with much in the way of extras. It's been the same on all three boxed sets.

  • Audio Commentary on selected episodes.

  • Making Of Feaurettes.

SUMMARY:
Season 3 is probably one of the best for the series. Fans will begin to delve more into the Center and discover amazing things about Jerrod and Miss Parker.

I would recommend this series to everyone. All five seasons were excellent and it's an enjoyable watch as Jerrod becomes a new person each week while still working to expose the center and deadly past to the beautiful Miss Parker. You need to purchase this series on DVD.
