Transferring movies and television series to VHS, VCD and DVD has become a huge trend for fans interested in creating their own private video libraries. Video Headquarters should offer you helpful information and methods for dubbing setup, trading, and info about the types of equipment you might need at some time. Professional dubs are essential even for a personal library.
The information posted here is for personal use only. Scifi2k.com does not promote or condone copyright infringement of any type. There is however nothing wrong with trading among friends.

The Cable Company Note:   In many cases the Cable signal in your home will have a poor signal coming into your house. If the quality of your cable has some static in it or appears dirty, call them out and have their tech check the signal strength. If you don't complain they aren't going to care. The cable company has a small booster unit that is generally mounted in the area where they break the signal from the ground into the house. I had one installed in my garage and the  improvement to signal quality is incredible. Now with digital cable, the quality is like satellite.

The Cable Company will NOT tell you about it or just offer it. If your told that the signal is OK or a little weak but within tolerance, tell them you want a booster installed. It's free. You pay for the best signal possible, not a signal within some obscure tolerance band.
