The show was a short run with a decent cast. Ran from Dec. 1992 to Jan. 1993 on CBS...  Only 6 episodes.

FORT HOPE

Fort Hope, a Ranger station out on the rim. They were there to protect and to serve the public trust. The largest threat to Fort Hope is its nearness  to Banchee space. A race of aliens that torment and steal transport ships.
  Space Rangers had the potential to be a decent series. 

 

     Encore's Action Channel occasionally airs the series as three two-hour films.
